DARA WEISS is a Montreal-born singer and songwriter. A dedicated and active member of Montreal's bluegrass/country scene, she plays her father’s cherry Guild guitar, made the year she was born. Although she graduated from McGill’s Performance program in saxophone, it was bluegrass that won her heart with its haunting blend of the clawhammer banjo and old time fiddle. A member of one of Montreal’s finest bluegrass groups, Yonder Hill.
