Jason Lang

Jason Lang has been described by friends and critics alike as an extraordinary talented artist and musician. Son of Canadian folk music legend Penny Lang and the late renowned American folk singer Dave Van Ronk, Jason's own music is rooted in the folk and pop traditions.

He has written and recorded with Roch Voisine, Luba, had several top-ten and top-twenty Canadian country hits with Loggerhead recording artist Denise Murray, and has worked as a musician on gold, platinum, and diamond records.

Before jumping out of the shadows and into the spotlight as a much saught after sideman, Jason toured extensively throughout Canada, Europe and the United States, with many of Canada's best and well known artists, including Amanda Marshall, Roch Voisine, Luba, The McGarrigle Sisters, Isabelle Boulay, France D'Amour, Richard Séguin, Luce Dufault and Véronique DiCaire to name a few.

Jason has also produced seven albums, was the recipient of 3 felix Awards and received Juno Award nomination.
