We have been in existence for the past ten years starting as a youth group. We perform and minister in churches and concerts and festivals all over Montreal and have been to venues in Ontario and in the United States. We have won different gospel music awards and three of the soloists have also won separate gospel awards. SOUL’s upbeat flavors and styles defies stereotypical gospel groups and our varied repertoire includes many musical and cultural influences. We sing in a few different languages and dialects and drama and dance and colorful costumes are incorporated into our concerts. We have one SOUL CD (all original music)– “My soul sings for You” and all the soloists have their demos and cds. The founder and director of this group is Sherma Salandy aka Auntie sherma and the nucleus of the group includes, Susan –Blanche, Kira Lina, Nicole,

Sherma is a songwriter and a poet and a native of Trinidad and Tobago, hence the colourful and flavor and rhythms of some of the music this group provides.
